Our Mission Statement

Relcon Power Systems is owned and operated by Kenyans from Nairobi and Mombasa. We are situated on Kolobot Road, off Forest Road in Nairobi having that as our Head office comfortably in our own premises. And in Mombasa, our branch office is spaciously located in our own Vish Tower on Machakos Road. Registered in April 1991, we have fully participated in the electrical and engineering industry in Kenya and neighbouring countries. The purpose of our company as our name suggests is to give reliable and quick power systems to our clients while extending professional advice on electrical systems and assistance to them. Our philosophy is quality service to all our customers at affordable and competitive rates. We have Prime Bank as our banker and Moore JVB LLP as the qualified and certified auditor.

As Chairman of Relcon Power Systems Ltd, the late PC Shah guided the company with his expert knowledge and over 40 years of experience in power and lighting management, which made him an invaluable asset to the group. He had been in charge of tendering, office management, banking, and executive matters, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism, integrity, and visionary leadership.

Mr. Mahesh Shah (Director) B.Eng. Honors

Class "A" licenced technician with honors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sunderland, U.K., Mr. Mahesh Shah is the director and operator of Relcon Power Systems with over 33 years of experience in handling all kinds of electrical installations and design works. Tendering, Technical and Office management including executive decisions are handled by our experienced and educated director himself.

What we do

Our mission is to be one of the leading electrical contractors in the East African region. Our company is registered with the Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Public Works and Housing in the category of Class “A” licensed Electrical Contractors and we are authorized to carry our all types of high and low tension jobs. We intend to offer quality service at competitive prices to all current and potential clients.

We undertake all types of electrical Installation works throughout the region for multi-storied buildings, hotels, large and small workshop installations, theatres, hospitals, schools, harbours, industrial garages, housing developments, flood lightings, street lightings, and any other small or large scale installation projects.

We also provide reliable back-up support for all our clients and for any other interested people. Supported by adequately qualified technical staff and academically certified experts, we are able to give the most efficient, reliable and professional services.

We review with the clients, clients’ needs, and together we identify the most secure and best possible way of locating electrical installations ensuring that the customer gets the most practical connections with a no risk of continual break downs.

We organize routine surveys of our projects and make recommendations as regards to any adjustments in case of expansions.
